Some types of CD and DVD discs may become unusable after you erase them

several times. Check the information that came with the disc to find out how

many times you can erase it.

Burn Folder

Burn folders make it easy to create a collection of files that you can burn to a CD

or DVD several times. When you drag files to a burn folder, the Finder

places aliases to them in the burn folder. You can create a burn folder

with important files and then regularly burn the latest version of those

files to a CD as a backup. See Mac Help for more information.

Screensaver

Setting up

You use System Preferences

to setup your screensaver.

• Choose Apple menu,

System Preferences and

click Desktop & Screen

Saver under the Personal

section.

• Click the Screen Saver

button.

• Select a screen saver in the

Screen Savers list. A small

preview appears in the

window. To see how a screen saver looks when it is in use, click Test.

• To use your own pictures, select the Pictures Folder screen saver. If your

pictures are in a different place, select Choose Folder to locate them.

• To select options for the screen saver you

select, click Options.

o Use the Options panel to choose

how images are displayed by the

screen saver.

• To see a different screen saver each time

the screen saver is activated, select the Use

random screen saver checkbox. You

should make sure there are images in your Pictures folder if you use this

option.
