a Evenlyapplytheentirecontentsofonegreasesyringe(providedinthekit)tothe

raisedtopsurfaceoftheprocessor.Becarefulnottospreadgreaseontheretainer.

b Holdthe

heatsinkabovetheprocessor,connectthetemperaturesensorwirestothe

mainlogicboard,andthenpresstheheatsinkstraightdownintoposition.The

metalliccontactsonthetemperaturewireconnectorfaceup.

c Tightentheheatsinkscrewsfollowingthediagonalpatternshownabove.

d Repeatthisprocesstoinstall

thesecondheatsink.

Cover the top, metallic surface of the

processor evenly with thermal grease.

Use the entire contents of one syringe

for each processor. Do not apply thermal

grease to the processor retainer.

Tighten the screws on the

heat sink in the order shown.

Attach the cable on the

heat sink to the connector on

the main logic board. The tiny

metal contacts on the cable’s

connector should face up.
