language for which yo u have installed support.

choices about how te xt should appear on your desktop and in

This chapter explains choosing a key board layo ut fro

enu, and s etting the Keyboard and Text control panels
to tailor how your co

puter displays text.

nce you install a

As you work in two languages, you can switch fro

one language
to another by choosing the appropriate keyboard layout fro

apanese that in cludes passages in English, all using
the correct fonts and characters.
