Transport Controls and Time Display / Transport Window

In Logic, the transport controls appear in their own floating window, called the

Transport window

. The Transport window includes a time display that shows time in

both absolute and musical formats. The Transport window also includes controls for

changing the time signature, setting the start and end points of the Cycle area, setting

the end of the song, and moving the SPL.

Logic Transport Window

To open the Transport window, choose Window > Transport (or press Command-7).

You can change the size and shape of the Transport window, and also choose

different layouts that display different sets of controls. You can even open multiple

Transport windows, each with its own layout. You can also have the Transport

controls appear in the upper-left corner of the Arrange window, which is useful with
